On August 21^st, National Senior Citizens Day recognizes the accomplishments of the elderly of our nation. This special day gives us the opportunity to show our appreciation for their dedication, achievements and services they have given over time.

Their inffluence for knowledge and experience offer so much to the next generation. Their contributions to our daily lives have created a better place for us to live.

To show our appreciation and love for our senior citizens, we at DRB Capital, thought it would be a great idea to reward those who look after them on a daily basis. The associates at Artis Senior Living dedicate their lives to taking care of our more mature representatives and making sure they feel their best under all circumstances.

To demonstrate our support, we provided each associate with a delicious lunch from their favorite lunch spot. They all truly enjoyed their meal and were very grateful for the gesture.

We encourage you all to celebrate National Senior Citizen Day by giving thanks to the elderly in your life. This is a great time to look into your relationships with them and think about how your community supports and assists senior citizens.

July 1-7 is Clean Beaches Week, an entire week dedicated to celebrating our beautiful beaches and ensuring they remain safe and clean for generations to come.

Founded in 2003, this special week has, today, drawn major public support: over 150 coastal governors, mayors and county commissions have now issued proclamations in support of the week.

We at DRB Capital recognize and embrace the importance of clean beaches. We strongly urge our team and the public to leave no trace of litter and only footprints at our beautiful beaches.

Father’s Day is a celebration of fathers, honoring fatherhood, paternal bonds and the role fathers play in society. This celebration was first introduced in 1909 to complement Mother’s Day celebrations. Today, Father’s Day is more than a day for Dads to get presents, it is a day to honor the contribution that father figures make to the lives of their children.

We, at DRB Capital, want this opportunity to express our love and gratitude to these people by sharing what our team members who are Fathers will be doing this Sunday June 17^th. Here are some of the fun filled days our team members will be having this weekend:

National Pet Month celebrates the benefits that pets bring to people’s lives and vice versa. During the month of May, this celebration aims to promote the benefits of pet ownership, support pet adoption, bring awareness of the benefits of pets for people and people for pets and bring knowledge of the role, value and contribution to society of working companion animals.

Today, more than ever before, it is essential to reduce the stigma around mental health struggles.
